Gratitude For This Moment - Mindful Moment

Hello friends,

Welcome to this very special mindful moment. Before we get to our practice, I wanted to take a moment and thank you.

In March of 2020, the first Mindful Moment Monday went out into the world. It was an opportunity to share thoughts about life, mindfulness and give hope in a world that was uncertain. A few months later, the first audio MMM was launched and here we are a year later.

This little idea turned into a project of love, and an investment in my community. Although I write and speak, ‘from my heart to yours’, every week, there is more behind the scenes. I have been blessed to have an incredible assistant who helps me to produce this weekly message, and shares in the vision. It has been a journey of learning, growing, vulnerability, and sharing. The process of putting my ideas and thoughts from head to paper to production, has been an invaluable experience.

We started with gentle graphics and transitioned to beautifully crafted visual meditations. (IF you haven’t watched, go have a look! Not everyone has a visual story, but many do and they are SO mesmerizing! Thank you Tara!) And who knew that I would use this platform to become a “teacher” on Insight Timer and share these Mindful Moments with an even broader community!

I have received so many beautiful messages from you all, sharing your experiences with meditation and pausing together for a few breaths every week. You inspire me in more ways than you realize. It seems we have been inspiring each other….

And so, moving forward, our weekly MMM will continue in a new way. I will occasionally send out a Mindful Moment through my newsletter, but I encourage you, if you enjoy a more regular practice, to become a patron on Patreon. In addition to our Mindful Moments, I will be offering other mindfulness tips, affirmations, and maybe a pole trick or two, and other messages dear to my heart.
